A unique online approach to mastering the computer standards at every grade level. Curriculum meets Gami-Fiction. The result? Next-Level Learning.

Attention, Tech Heroes!

Unfolding Lesson by Lesson. Students. Tech Heroes. The Digital Realm. The Dragon? Seriously, Key.

Gami-Fiction. Gamifying the process of learning with the reward of not only a story, but a story in which you have a part.

WHAT Students find they are in a story. For middle schoolers, this means the Digital Realm. Beginning at the Start-Up Academy, they gain skills and soon are called upon to save the Realm from a sudden threat from a surprising source.

HOW As lessons are completed, the students as a class unlock more of the story. They earn badges and honors as they increase their skills and knowledge. An e-Folio contains their story progress. In the end, there is much to celebrate - as true Tech Heroes, they save the Realm!

WHY With the aim to engage their motivation, imagination and curiosity, gami-fiction is a positive consequence as students complete the academic curriculum. Put simply, it’s fun! What’s going to happen next in the story? Learn, and find out!

Gami-Fiction. Go Next Level.

The middle school narrative of the dragon, Bytescale, is the major mystery in 6th grade. 7th-8th grades continue the story of the Tech Heroes, from tackling issues caused by data mining trolls to saving the Realm from the Void of Erasure.

We’re going next level - get in! Beginner, expert, in-between? Perfect! Your pure learning adventure awaits inside the Computer Classroom. Join us!

Gami-Fiction

Our stories are unique, high-interest adventures that would fit well in the children's section of a library. Accessible for all learners and reading levels within a given grade, they are designed to hook and engage learners with engaging plot points, curiosities and twists throughout the year. The stories form trilogies for grade spans (K-2; 3-5; 6-8), and follow a general format of four phases, in which the first phase is six weeks of the school year that prepares them academically and brings them into the simulation unfolding over the next three phases. The final phase at the end of the year wraps up the story in celebration and closure.

Ultimately, the main focus of learning technology is the academic content itself. Therefore, the story simulation is designed to enhance and not distract (although kids may get pretty excited!). Each installment of the story occurs with the completion of a lesson or class meeting, meant to take no more than five minutes. Installments may be a message card, and AI story video, news brief, etc. Also, the story is sprinkled into the lessons over the year, as well, as a way to enhance learning objectives and heighten focus. The goal remains for you and your students to have the best experience meeting the learning requirements. Our standards-based curriculum can operate independently of the story stimulation, but we have to say, we hope you will enjoy the stories as much as we do, and realize their benefits to your classroom.

Fairy tales come to life in new ways, blend together - get a little fragmented in the retelling - but are ultimately restored, through version updates, of course.

To the right, a blue mug with 'Digital Startup Challenge' printed on it is positioned. The background wall is green, creating a subtle contrast with the objects in the foreground.

Can robots and sprites get along in the same world? Pixelation problems threaten to break up what took years for designers to build. When a virus slips through, can they all find common ground - find a new peace?
